Our sales team recently had the opportunity to visit Interpack 2026, one of the leading global events for the packaging industry. As expected, the exhibition strongly reflected the major transformations shaping our market.
♻️ Sustainability remains at the core
Sustainability, circular economy, mono-material packaging, and lightweight solutions continue to be the key drivers—consistent leitmotivs at Interpack over the past years. The industry is clearly accelerating efforts to reduce environmental impact while maintaining performance.
📦 PPWR: the new priority
A new term was on everyone’s lips this year: PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). Its strong presence highlights how seriously the industry is addressing upcoming regulations and actively working to develop compliant, forward-thinking solutions.
🔄 Innovation spotlight: Polypropylene (PP)
One of the noticeable trends is the growing development of transparent PP solutions. These materials not only enhance product visibility but also significantly improve recyclability—representing a key step toward more circular packaging systems.
Interpack 2026 once again demonstrated that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand, and that collaboration across the value chain will be essential to meet future challenges.
